The founder of ROF is Wayne, the one on the right in the picture. Wayne is a retired firefighter pursuing his lifelong passion for motorsports. He holds a National competition license with SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) and currently races a D Sports racer. (The car in the picture) He has also raced with BMW Car Club, and NASA (National Auto Sports Association) and is an instructor.

The other gentleman in the picture is Ray, aka “Seabird”. Seabird is a retired telephone company employee now working as a contractor for his old company. Seabird is the head radioman and primary crewmember for ROF. Seabird holds crew licenses in SCCA, NASA, SVRA/HSR and NASCAR Whelan Series. He has been going racing with ROF for about 9 years now. His pride and joy, other than his wife, is his 1972 Datsun 240 Z that he bought new and still drives to some events

The cast of characters at ROF is always changing and includes family members of both of the above and friends. If you would like to come out to a weekend to see what it is all about, we welcome volunteers as crewmembers. Just be warned, we will put you to work, but we will make you feel welcome as well.
